Instructions to apply for the Hy-Vee Tuition Assistance Program: 

• Download and review the Hy-Vee Tuition Assistance Guidelines
• Review the Enhanced TA Approved Degree listing
• Complete the Hy-Vee Tuition Assistance Application and submit to hy-veeuniversity@hy-vee.com
• Hy-Vee University will notify applicant of their status within three weeks from the end of the specified enrollment period. In the meantime, be sure to create a visitor account HERE to learn more about our partnership.
• After the applicant is selected and notified, Hy-Vee University will pass along their information, and a Bellevue University Admissions Counselor will notify the applicant on how to apply for classes.

Please Note: 

• Once you have been approved for the Hy-Vee Tuition Assistance Program, there is no need to apply each year.
• To qualify for up to $10,500 per year in Tuition Assistance, you must be a full-time or regular-time employee and must have submitted the completed Tuition Assistance Program application to Hy-Vee and received approval from HR.

To qualify for up to $10,500 per year in Tuition Assistance, you must:

• Be a full-time or regular-time Hy-Vee employee
• Have at least 6 months of experience at Hy-Vee
• Complete and submit a Tuition Assistance Program application to Hy-Vee
• Enroll in a Hy-Vee Enhanced TA Bellevue University program

Hy-Vee or the participating Hy-Vee subsidiary will fund only one bachelor’s degree (which may also include a two-year multidisciplinary studies or business degree) or one advanced degree per employee as part of this program. Funding is approved for the duration of the selected degree program, it is not necessary to re-apply each year.

Hy-Vee is committed to creating a strong future by investing in your helpful smile. Bellevue University and Hy-Vee created a tuition assistance program exclusively for Hy-Vee employees and their families.

• Each year this program will award enhanced tuition assistance of up to $10,500 to select qualified employees who seek a degree that will help advance the employee’s career with Hy-Vee.
• All other employees are eligible to receive up to $5,250 per year to help defray the cost of attaining a degree.
• Immediate family members are also eligible to receive up to $3,500 per year.

When can I apply for the Hy-Vee Enhanced Tuition Assistance program?
The program is offered three times per year: January, June, September.

When should I apply, based on when I want to start classes?
The application is available on the first day of each open round. Complete the application within the open round of the year that you wish to begin classes.

How does the funding for a Hy-Vee approved degree program work?

Speak with a Bellevue University Admissions Counselor to learn how to apply the partnership tuition assistance, along with the Hy-Vee tuition assistance, upon meeting the eligibility requirements

Do I need to fill out an application for Hy-Vee Enhanced Tuition Assistance and Bellevue University?
Yes. There is an application for both the Hy-Vee Enhanced Tuition Assistance program and Bellevue University. The Hy-Vee application is a downloadable PDF attached to the guidelines form and is only available in January, June, and September. This application must be turned into Hy-Vee via email: hy-veeuniversity@hy-vee.com. The application for admission to Bellevue University is a separate application that an admissions counselor will guide you to complete. The Bellevue University application fee is waived.

Is there tuition assistance funding available if I do not choose a Hy-Vee-approved degree program at Bellevue University?
Yes. Please speak with a Bellevue University admissions counselor to learn more about how you can enroll in a program using Bellevue University’s tuition assistance.
